“Design and Development” is a core component of the instructional design courses, which are part of the ID/IT Certificate program. The purpose of this course is to study the systematic design of instruction. Participants will learn how to plan, develop, evaluate, and manage the instructional process effectively. Students will demonstrate their ability to systematically identify a learning/performance problem, conceptualize a solution, and design an instructional program.
Design and Development provides foundational knowledge to instructional design learners on identifying a problem, developing a solution, and then designing an instructional program to address the problem and solution.
