Open registration runs to the end of the semester, and registrant will have a year of access upon registration. 

“Authoring Tools” is a core component of the instructional technology courses which are a component of the ID/IT Certificate program. Its purpose is to provide an introduction to the fundamental skills and knowledge of commonly used authoring tools in the instructional design and technology profession. Selected topics include types of authoring tools, the evaluation of a tool’s potential use, as well as identifying how the tools may integrate into commonly used learning management systems.

The Authoring Tools course provides foundational knowledge to entry level instructional technologists. this course provides information on different authoring tools, selecting an authoring tool, as well as information on how well authoring tools will work with other systems.
